Origins of ARKA
ARKA is crafted in Northern Europe, along the curved lines of the Gauja River valley. Our surroundings have brought stillness and calm into our lives, and taught us respect for nature. With dedicated passion, this business has grown from an enduring need for calming environments and the inspiration to create better. We built our first prototypes by hand, and continue to do so, embracing being artisan rather than manufacturing company.
Each ARKA booth is crafted from the remnants of industrial wood panel production, giving new life to materials that would otherwise go unused. A quiet gesture of care and respect for material life cycles. We slow down to do better.
In times of great urgency, we believe silence can teach us to make wiser decisions, to create space for inner reflection, observation, and deep focus on the details that shape true impact. In the race for productivity, we often overlook what we hold shared responsibility for. ARKA is a daily space for self-discipline, reflection, and calm. A space to have space.
